Welcome to 8th grade social studies! I am excited to be your teacher this year.

The 8th grade social studies class is a year-long course that covers early U.S. history, geography, and government. Students will study U.S. history beginning with early Americans and European exploration and continue through the Civil War and Reconstruction (1491-1877). 

Students need a few things to have a successful year: a composition notebook, a set of colored pencils, pencils, and also a willingness to work hard!
