Welcome

Welcome to 8th grade social studies! I am excited to be your teacher this year.

The 8th grade social studies class is a year-long course that covers early U.S. history, geography, and government. Students will study U.S. history beginning with early Americans and European exploration and continue through Westward expansion in the mid 1800s. 

Students need a few things to have a successful year: a three-ring binder, a set of colored pencils, notebook paper, pencils, and also a willingness to work hard!
