Meet the teacher

Education:  I received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Penn State University.  I then completed a master’s degree in secondary science education at Duquesne University. Since then, I have completed several additional classes in science and education, and have attended numerous professional development seminars and courses.   

Experience:  I have taught biology, advanced biology, earth space science, seventh grade science, and AP Environmental Science in Harrodsburg, KY. I then moved to Munster, IN and taught high school biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, and life science. Since returning to the Pittsburgh area, I have taught life science at Norwin Middle school.
