Dr. Collier was hired as the assistant principal at the middle school in 2014. Dr. Collier is also the Chief STEM/STEAM Officer for the district. Dr. Collier attained his Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development at Penn State University in the Fall of 2022. He received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in sociology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, earned his teaching certification from Seton Hill University, and is certified in social studies and English. Dr. Collier also obtained his Principal PK-12 certification in 2010, his Vocational Administrative Director 7-12 certification in 2012, and his Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility in 2020. Further, he has presented at state (e.g. Integrated Learning Conference @ PSU) and national conferences (e.g. High Schools That Work @ Nashville and Louisville) about the integration of academics and technology.
