Meet the Teacher

Hello! I look forward to an exciting year together in the world of mathematics!

This will be my 10th year teaching at Norwin.  For the past 9 years I taught second grade and look forward to teaching 7th Grade mathematics this year at the middle school. 

Growing up I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher. I attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and majored in Elementary Education.  After working within the schools, I decided to continue my studies at Saint Vincent College to receive my Master’s Degree in Special Education while also becoming certified to teach Middle School English Language Arts and Mathematics.

Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have two daughters, Finley and Harper. As a family we enjoy cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins and spending time outdoors such as swimming, biking, and going to the beach in the summer. I also enjoy traveling, shopping, reading, decorating and trying out new DIY projects!
