About Mrs. Brooks

Currently, I am the 7th grade English Language Arts teacher for Norwin Middle School and have been teaching in the district for over 25 years.    I have spent that time as a reading specialist, special education, reading, and ELA teacher and enjoyed every minute of it.    I am a graduate of Kiski School District and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania for my Bachelors Degree and the University of Pittsburgh for my Masters Degree. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband.  We like to spend our time traveling, and visiting family and friends. I  also have several other hobbies and interests including reading, twirling baton, teaching Zumba, and spending time outdoors. I am looking forward to starting a new school year.
